I created a 2d model which included 2 beam in 90 degree configuration. I try to define x y and rotz spring but i cant.

How i can define such spring in 2d analysis?

It might be simpler to have the model be in 3D so you can use a Bushing connection. That way, you can enter the spring rate for X, Y and RotZ all in the same element.nYou can apply displacement constraints to make it a 2D result by setting Z , RotX and RotY to 0.nPlease use the Windows Snipping Tool to get a screen snapshot.n

You mean make 3d model and give constrain eguations to nodes of the beam?n

I mean add a Displacement boundary condition to the beam geometry, which will apply it to all the nodes on the beam to turn the 3D model into a 2D model.nUse a Bushing connection between the ends of the beams.n
