SubscriberI want to display flow pathlines going towards only one outlet in a simulation. I understand you can release pathlines from a surface, which shows you how flow moves away from a surface (which is useful for showing flow out of an inlet), but I don't know how to display flow going only into 1 outlet. See below model - I want to show flow going into the 'leak' outlet at the top:

Ansys EmployeeBasic question: Do you have flow going to the small leak outlet?. With pathlines are just traced of massless particles being advected by the fluid velocity.nMarch 8, 2021 at 12:11 pmDrAmine
Ansys EmployeeYou can use reversal flow direction using the option reverse by emitting from the leak outlet.nMarch 8, 2021 at 12:21 pmmcgrat25
SubscriberThankyou, reversal flow has worked. Is it possible to create a plot with the coordinates of the start positions of these pathlines?nViewing 3 reply threads- You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
