SubscriberI set two models, one for source, the other for target.
In source model, I set magnetization computation and defined the BH of soft magnet in 1st quadrant. About excitation, the d-axis current was given.
In target model, I set PM field link to source model, click compute none in magnetization panel, and just give zero in current.
But it still didnt work!
How to solve this problem?
Source model can stimulate properly, but when it came to target model, it went like this:

Ansys Employeehi, does it solve in the source model without linking permanent magnetic field? Which solver is used in both design?-

SubscriberIn source model, there is no linking to permanent magnetic field. Only in target one, the PM is linked to sourcr model.
What is solver mean, you mean solution type?I use Magnetic Transient for both of them

Ansys EmployeeThanks for the additional info, please refer technotes "Using the Hysteresis Model-Based Demagnetization/Magnetization Approach (Transient Solver Only)" on Maxwell Help Manual.

Ansys EmployeeYes, you will need Hci value here for the hysteresis model based method. Usually this data is provide by vendor, or you can bring this to test in certified labs.

Ansys EmployeePlease refer to the technotes "Using the Hysteresis Model-Based Demagnetization/Magnetization Approach (Transient Solver Only)" from Maxwell manual, it has step by step instructions for both source and target designs.

SubscriberThe technotes say there will be three models for this, but doesnt say how to set the excitation, I mean how to set the current excitation in each model?
Now I give the current pulse excitation in the fisrt two source model, and set zero excitation in the target one.
