SubscriberDear:
I am facing a problem to export the coordinates of nodes with zone ID to text or excel. I got some videos showing how to export the coordinates of nodes, but I also want to know which zone the coordinates of nodes belong to.
Is there any way I can do it?
Thanks!
Best

Ansys EmployeeIt'll help if you tell us which solver you're using: it'll be different in each one.

SubscriberHi, thanks for the reply, I am using the pressure-based solver to simulate.

Ansys EmployeeIn Fluent? If so have a look in the Export options. If you want the zone ID you may need to export one region (zone) at a time.

Ansys EmployeeWhat fields did you select for export? Some of the formats give x, y, & z co ordinates automatically.

SubscriberSorry for this late reply. I had selected x,y,z coordinates, and cell zone index.

Ansys EmployeeI suspect Fluent exports the coordinates automatically for that file type. As you selected the coordinates as well it's given you the data twice.
