SubscriberHello
My simulation is unsteady, and the actual size of the .dat file is up to 30gb. I am using a Parallel solver and using 32 processors. Every time I want to save the file I get an error of the MPI application. So I imagine I'm running out of memory. Is it possible to export the very last flow field variables and initialize a new simulation with these values only?

Ansys EmployeeYou can write interpolation data at the end and read in a new case. -

Ansys EmployeeTry saving on the local drive and make sure you're saving .dat and not .dat.gz That'll not compress the file but may save you a little RAM. The interpolation file will get you the flow field, try creating a dpm.out file on the fluid zones and see if you can convert that into an injection file.
