SubscriberI'm working on simulation of SAVONIOUS Vertical axis wind turbine (VAWT) using 6DOF dynamic Mesh technique. My simulation is working correctly, but the problem is I can't find how to get the rpm of the turbine.nIf anybody know how to get rpm or angular kindly help.nThanks in advancen -

Forum ModeratorThe solver knows the cell velocity so you just need to report either a function of x (y, or z) position of a cell or cells. n -

SubscriberThanks for the help.nAs far as my understanding you are saying that I will have to create point on rotor which is function of X,Y and time. correct?n -

Forum ModeratorNot quite. A point won't travel with the rotor. You will need to separate out a facet and report on that. n
