how to find that residuals have converged for a particular case

  hello everyone .
  
  i am solving a flow around cylinder 3D case .my simulation is running for week .sometimes the curve becomes straight and then bends .this is going on with my solution. i am confused in when to stop the simulation and find the physical values i need . can anyone suggest me the criterion of solutions to converge using residuals.

  Refer to judging convergence in the Fluent User's Guide and start looking into imbalances and monitors of key parameter which IMHO are sometimes much more important to judge convergence!
