How to import a 2D slice in Mechanical APDL and assign different properties to it’s parts

  Hi all,
  
  Please i would like to know how to import and work on a 2D slice (Generated from Workbench) in the Mechanical APDL and assign different material properties to the different parts of this slice?
  
  First of all, could i do this or NOT ?
  
  If YES then please tell me HOW?
  Any Help is HIGHLY APPRECIATED.

  Assuming they're different bodies it'll be possible (I don't use APDL so no idea how). Can you use Mechanical in Workbench as it'll be much easier as the GUI is fairly user friendly.
