I am currently working on ANSYS Fluent to generate offshore waves in a numerical wave tank. I have run the simulations, now I want volume fraction plots in CFD post but there is not any option of volume fraction or phases in CFD post although it is available in ANSYS fluent window.October 26, 2020 at 11:39 pmSurya DebAnsys EmployeeHello, nYou can export the volume fractions to .CDAT files (CFD Post Compatible files). nYou can go to File-->Export-->Solution Data. Then select the File Type as CDAT for CFD Post and Ensight. Then select the Cell Zones, Surfaces and the Quantities. The volume fraction will be listed as one of the Quantities that you can export. nOnce you export the CDAT file, you can load it in CFD Post and continue with your post processing.nI hope this helps.nnRegards,nSuryannViewing 1 reply thread
