How to obtain aerodynamic damping value in CFD post

      Hello all,

      I am performing blade flutter simulation in CFX. I define the monitor points for aerodynamic damping and extract the value from the solution monitor. I was doing this for each nodal diameter manually.

      However, I want to set nodal diameter as an input to parameter set and find the corresponding aerodynamic damping as output variable.

      How can define aerodynamic damping as an expression to use it as an output variable in the parameter set?

      Using the built-in calculation for aerodynamic damping is the recommended approach.Calculating the aerodynamic damping manually through a CEL expression wouldnÔÇÖt account properly for the velocity, coordinates, area, and surface normal changes with time. At the present time, the aerodynamic damping isn't available as an output parameter directly from CFD-Post. However, one possible workaround in CFD-Post is the following:
      Generate a CFD-Post a script that does the following:
      -Creates a chart of aerodynamic damping using monitor data
      -Exports the chart as a .csv file
      -Reads the .csv file using Perl scripting and extracts the last value in the file
      -Assigns this value to an expression
