How to represent a bolted end/side plate connection?

      Hi Guys,

I am trying to replicate a study from a research paper which used ABAQUS as the software package. The author created horizntal and vertical connections between modules, in a modular building. Each link or connection consisted of three translational springs, one axial and two shear springs (shown in last snippet). Having explored the element library i cannot locate a similar component, anyone have any ideas.

Below are the original extracts from the research paper.

,nYou could create an elastic support with normal and tangential stiffness in ANSYS workbench. Check this out. https://simutechgroup.com/a-normal-and-tangential-elastic-foundation-in-ansys-workbench-mechanical/nRegards,nIshan.n
