Hello, I have a stupid question for which I didn't find any answer (because I don't know how to phrase it): if I solved an analysis, then made a change (for example adding a force or changing the mesh) and then cancel this change I still need to solve again the model. How can I tell the program to retrieve the previous results?
ThanksApril 28, 2022 at 2:06 pmChandra SekaranAnsys EmployeeIf you did not do 'Clear all generated data' then possibly the results file is still available and you can try to reload it.
Go to 'Solution' --> right mouse click--> open solver files directory. Check if there is a results file (file.rst if structural, file.rth if thermal)
Click on Solution, Open the solution tab--> read results file as shown below. Read the file.rst.
