SubscriberHi Kremella,
Actually, ANSYS 19.0 is installed on Linux based cluster and I have ssh credentials to connect with it. I want to know that how to write a batch script to submit the fluent.cas and fluent.dat file on the cluster to run the case from windows 10. I am using ANSYS Academic Research Licence. I also want to know that how many nodes I can use for parallel processing.
Thank you.

Ansys EmployeeBatch scripts are covered in Chapter 4 of the Getting Started Manual, but the exact method will also depend on how your cluster is set up: IT may need to advise on that. Re the number of cores it'll come down to what is available on the hardware and how many parallel licences you have access to.

Ansys EmployeeCheck with your IT if the server is down and let them check server and client diagnostics.

Ansys EmployeeHi
Error message is saying that could not connect to any license server. I guess this could be an issue with the server. Please check with your IT team about the license is upgraded in the server or not and also on server issues.
Regards,
Seeta

I have one question, I have set up my case in windows ANSYS 17.2. And in the cluster (Linux OS), it is ANSYS 19.0 (Linux version). is this error because of different OS version or what?

Ansys EmployeeSo that means your initial problem is resolved. Please mark then this topic accordingly.
A single academic license can run up to 16 CPU cores, or alternatively up to 8 GPU cards. So in order to run on 32 CPU cores you require the academic license task (solver + inbuilt 16 CPU cores) + 16 ANSYS Academic HPC Associate Licences.

SubscriberHi,
I run both HPC Server and local computer; however, the scaled residuals are different like one or two orders of magnitude. On my local computer, which is very slow, reached 10^-3 or 10&-4 while just 10^-1 is on HPC at the same iteration. Is this possible?

Ansys EmployeeOpen new thread please and yes that can be possible if using different partitions versions and not really converged.
