How to show critical stress regions based on body temperature in Ansys Mechanical

      Hi all,

i was wondering if its possible to create a custom result based on temperature dependant yield stress. My model has a temperature that was mapped from CFX.

What i want to do is produce results that represent the stress at any given location as a percentage (or any other suggestions) of the materials yield strength at the temperature of the given area. For example, if the yield stress is 100 MPa at 1000 degrees, then i would like to have any location that is at 1000 degrees with 100 MPa stress to be red in the results. And if the stress is 50 MPa at a location with 1000 degrees, they would be shown as green in the results.

Is there any way to do this ?

      Thanks !

I think you can export (node number and locations) the stresses for the body and compare the same with mapped temperature data in an excel sheet.
