How to track particles that pass a certain point

I am doing a DPM simulation and I wanted to see how many particles hit a certain point or pass a certain point in the domain. Is there a way to track that? I do not want to track how many have escaped from the outlet, rather how many hit an object in a room.nI am using dense discrete phase modeling.nThanks.n

You can try exploring the particle sampling feature in Fluent. I'm sure it would help!n

Thanks for your comment, I tried looking into particle sampling, but I could not find the option for what I am trying to do. n

If you don't need the particles after they hit the object and it's steady state set that to trap and count how many are trapped. This assumes there are no other bc's with trap set. n
