SubscriberIn the attached file static structural A contains a hyperelastic material. If I try to solve the model with that property if shows the material property is invalid. But if done with elastic property as in B it solves the model and give results. Can anyone suggest what has been done wrong working with the hyper elastic material property? (The property was collected from a verified literature source)

SubscribernYou have hyperelastic uniaxial test data in the Engineering Materials database. That is not a material model.nYou need to add a hyperelastic material model then fit the model constants to the uniaxial test data.nThere is a whole chapter in the ANSYS Help system under the Mechanical APDL, Material Reference on this. Open ANSYS Help, then copy the URL below and paste it into the address bar.nhttps://ansyshelp.ansys.com/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v211/en/ans_mat/Hlp_G_STRmcfhyp.htmlnHere are some discussion in the Forum on that topic. In your reply, say what version of ANSYS you use.nhttps://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Aforum.ansys.com+fitting+uniaxial+test+data+to+hyperelastic+material+model&oq=site%3Aforum.ansys.com+fitting+uniaxial+test+data+to+hyperelastic+material+model&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i58.19729j1j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8nViewing 1 reply thread- You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
