Ansys EmployeeHello Jee,
Is this supposed to be a batch run?
It looks like it is trying to open the display to run interactive.
How is the job started? through RSM or through Fluent launcher? -

Ansys EmployeeHello, What is the operating system and patch level on which Fluent is being run ? Is it a distribution and version that is supported ? Were all required linux libraries installed from the installation documentation for Linux? -

SubscriberHi,
It is a warning I have set the -driver null and -gu. It is not an interactive mode. Still can't figure it out! The IT seems to be stuck as well, the solution provided not working.
What is the segmentation saying?
What is the operating system:
Linux HPC, SLURM, Intel CPU I think. (1 node say 32 cores). It is supported up to 2022 R2 as I was told from documentation of our HPC system.
Were all required linux libraries installed from the installation documentation for Linux?
I suppose. That is what being done by the HPC team. My colleague seems to be able to use it on 2d simulation. I tried his code but still got the segmentation error. -

Ansys EmployeeHello,
since both 22 R2 and also 23 R2 are crashing, I believe the issue may be in the system or environment.
What is the operating system? i.e. output of cat /etc/*release
The required linux libraries are very important. Fluent may not start correctly if some libraries are missing. it is important to check the required libraried from linux installation guide and check if those are installed or not.
can the system resolve its hostname correctly to its IPv4 address ?
are any .o or .e files written in your home folder or the startup folder ?
