Hydraulic Diameter and Symmetry Boundary Conditions

If I have, say, a 1/4 symmetry model of a straight cylindrical pipe (with two symmetry boundary conditions) do I input 0.5*diameter in the turbulence specifications as the hydraulic diameter? Or is the correct hydraulic diameter the actual diameter of the full model?

Hi FluxLimited The hydraulic diameter value needs to be equal to the diameter of the full model. Although you are simulating 1/4 of the model using symmetry, the diameter does not change, thus the hydraulic diameter also remains the same.
