SubscriberHI ALL
ACTUALLY I AM NEW HERE AND I HAVE A QUERY
I WANTED TO CHECK STRESS AND DEFLECTION ON A MS SHEET PASSING THROUGH THE 3 ROLLERS ( SUPPORTED ON TWO ROLLERS AND ROLLING BY A MASTER ROLLER, SO HOW I CAN DO IT ,
PLEASE IF ANY ONE CAN HELP ME

SubscriberYes, that is easily done if you know the material properties of the MS sheet and its thickness. What is MS made of?
What is the distance between the two support rollers? Is the Master Roller centered between them?
How far does the Master Roller bend the sheet? In other words, if you place a flat sheet on the support rollers, the master roller has to interfere with the top face of the MS sheet in order to bend the sheet. What is the dimension of the interference?
Is the MS sheet perfectly flat or does it have some natural curl? If it's curled, what radius and is the curl up or down?
Is the MS sheet thin enough where gravity will bend the sheet between the support rollers without the Master Roller? If so, you have to also know the density of the MS sheet and you have to turn on gravity in the simulation.

SubscriberYes, as you mentioned about details I have all, master roller dia =238 mm
Support rollers dia = 205 mm and equally distance of 182 mm from the center of master roller, and that is steel sheet with density of 7860 kg/m3 and thickness is 5 mm, and sheet is completely flat without any curl, here is all, now please tell how I can do it -

SubscriberOne number you need to provide is the displacement of the Master roller into the sheet. How many mm are you pushing down on the steel from first contact? If you provide the width of the sheet, the force required to push down the sheet can also be calculated.
Are you interested in only the elastic deflections of the sheet where it springs back after loading is removed or are you interested in plastic deformation that results in the sheet being permanently bent into a curve after the master roller is retracted?
