SubscriberI trying to make a simplified model of the human cell.
The cellular structure consists of the outer Plasma membrane, filled with viscoelastic fluid and nuclear and nucleoplasm. Outer Dia of the cell is 14 micrometers, however, Plamsamembrane is 10 nanometers thick which I am unable to model in Ansys. Do you know any way to model that? I will be performing modal analysis later on.

SubscriberDear Peteroznewman
Thank you for your comments; I did go through your post a few days earlier; great to hear from you. Can you please tell me whether it will work for spherical shells? Because the option you said is about the surface coating.

SubscriberYes, a surface coating works on flat or curved faces of solid or shell elements.
