SubscriberWhen I ran my model, I got a dialog box saying, "An unknown error occurred during solution. Check the Solver Output on the Solution Information object for possible causes." No error messages are listed in that solver output, only warnings. No results were produced.

Ansys employees are not allowed to download any files. So can you please share the screenshots of the warning messages that you mentioned?
Also, it would be helpful if you can share more about the analysis being performed: how the loads are applied, the boundary conditions, etc.

SubscriberI'm modeling a section of a keyway, meshed and supported as shown in the following pictures. A load is applied on the left of the bottom plate; other boundary conditions are frictionless supports. Part contacts are frictionless.

SubscriberI resolved the issue. I'm running ANSYS on my Mac via Parallels. That's worked fine for some other applications but in this case, I needed to work with the files within the Windows image for files to be written properly.
I believe that ANSYS should give an error message for failing to write files.
