when running my simulation the CFX solver manager exits with an error pointing me to set the estimate factor higher than 1. I was wondering if setting this parameter will have any impact on the accuracy of the results. And how this error arises in first place.

Go to the convergence control and select estimate factor, set the value to 2. We need to rename that parameter. In your outline tree in CFX-PRe, you'll see a small part labeled "expert parameters" right click this and select "Edit in command editor"
change the text from this, topology estimate factor = 2 to topology estimate factor zif =2 and then click process. Now re-run the solver.
Hope this will help.
