Implementing anisotropic creep properties in workbench

      Hi,

I am trying to figure out how to input anisotropic creep properties in workbench simulation. While searching a bit, I read that anisotropic creep can be modeled as a combination of Hill and creep property inputs.

Any thoughts how to implement this in workbench?

      Thanks in advance.

Hi, Please remove any sharcnet links from the posts and use ANSYS Help. If you don't know how to get help, please see here ( 1 & 2)

Regarding your question. Yes, you can model the Hill Criterion using anisotropic creep. Please see here.

Please take a moment to review the guidelines to the student community.

Just a suggestion- you can try a user defined material to have more flexibility in defining anisotropic flow rule.
