Import dataset of magnet

      Hi,

I want to import dataset of an AlNico magnet into the BH curve that includes 4 quadrants. So How can I find the dataset?

I mean do you know any sites or companies that share their dataset of magnets which Ansys can import it?

      thanks.

Ansys material library has some magnetic materials listed.
If you want to add a custom material you need to have this data beforehand. You can get the data from the manufacturer from whom you will be purchasing for your application or from any reliable source, Like Arnold Magnets, for getting accurate results
In the end, everything we design needs to be manufacturable.

Hi @nchode I'm so grateful for your answer.
I'm trying to change the direction of Alnico magnet by applying a pulse of enough mmf to the coil but when the current decreases to zero, the direction of magnetic flux changes to the initial position (I saw the magnetic flux).
I think it's because of the BH curve that is defined in the second quadrant and I have to import the whole information of BH curve. I also attached the current.
      Do you agree with me?
      Best Regards

Hi, you can find some data about magnetic materials in Granta material libraries (generic data and curves data, with B-H curves...):
      In teaching projects: https://www.ansys.com/products/materials/granta-edupack
      In research projects: https://www.ansys.com/products/materials/granta-selector
