SubscriberHello! I'm currently using the ANSYS Student version of SpaceClaim. I recently received a plan view drawing for an apartment unit I will eventually be performing thermodynamic and fluid mechanic analysis on in Fluent. Thankfully, the drawing is drawn to scale, but unfortunately, some dimensions are missing.
I wanted to know if there was a way to import a PDF into SpaceClaim, define a scale, and use that scale to figure out the unknown dimensions. Ultimately, I want to build a three dimensional model for the apartment unit so this functionality would be very useful.
If not, I'll just reach back to the architecture team to have them update the drawing with all dimensions. Thanks!

Ansys EmployeeLook at following. You cam import images in SpaceClaim and from there you can proceed.
Also moving this thread to geometry and cad category for better response.
