Import geometry from ansys to EDEM

      Hello everybody.

I use EDEM-Fluent coupling.I study agglomeration and deposition of particles in a turbulent flow in a tube.  I want to import geometry from Ansys. (I used a simple cylinder without any thickness for the wall in spaceclaim.)

As I import the cylinder in the EDEM it seems as a solid, so no particle can enter to the tube.

(Although I have a name selection as inlet-outlet- wall in spaceclaim there are not shown in EDEM)

Can I create fluid domain in spaceclaim or Ansys meshing?

      Hello
Hopefully exploring the features of spaceclaim and fluent meshing that allow for volume extraction may help. There are some youtube videos also available demonstrating those features.

To add, EDEM takes care of it's own geometry so check what that'll read. Ansys Rocky just reads the Fluent case file!
