In fluent, How to make a mesh(named selection) on face?

  Hello altruist,
  1. In this geometry I want to make a Inlet mesh on face but there is no thickness.
    I mean, just make rectangular mesh on face for make a inlet. Can I do this?
  2. more over, how to change the node number of 3D shape.

  If you have that face use Groups in SpaceClaim to create NS.
  In Meshing you can select face - right click - create NS.
  Please go through help manual for more details

  And to split the face you can use Imprint in SpaceClaim.

  Make sure you have that face in geometry. If you do not have that face in geometry, go to SpaceClaim and split the faces so that you have that face.
  In SpaceClaim you can create NS using Groups.
  In Meshing , select that face, right click and create NS.
  Please go through help manual for more details
