I am starting this discussion to better understand the process of incorporating S-parameter files in an HFSS model. I have read elsewhere that an S2P file can be included between two Lumped (or Circuit) ports on HFSS. As a test of the accuracy of this process, I have designed a 50 Ohm microstrip line bandpass filter (BFP) to act as my S-parameter (S2P) block. A screenshot of the model and the S-parameters are shown below. The S2P file was exported (renormalized to 50 Ohms) to be used at a later step.October 27, 2021 at 1:14 pmemaraSubscriberI have attached here the compressed Ansys project file (.aedt) including the HFSS designs for reference.

Thank you for reaching to us and we appreciate your patience.
Do you still see the difference in the results or is it sorted out?
Best regards Praneeth.

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation.
