SubscriberI was going through the paper "Metalenses at visible wavelengths: Diffraction-limited focusing and subwavelength resolution imaging" And I am trying to simulate a metalens with rectangular pillars. I read about the P-B Phase condition for the circularly polarised light. I am not able to incorporate the P-B condition into my script for the correct Phase vs angle of rotation graph. Can anyone please explain to me how it's done? -

Ansys EmployeeIf the phase is space dependent, you will need to create a such source with the phase. Please refer this example: https://optics.ansys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034383054-Using-an-equation-to-define-the-spatial-field-profile-of-a-source-in-FDTD
The source amplitude can be uniform or also space dependent. -

Ansys EmployeeAs long as you have analytical expression or computed data for the phase, you can import them by referring the above example.
