SubscriberHi,
I have a complex shaped 3D object (solid body) and i want to study its dynamics inside a fluid volume (cylinder). I've build the geometry and meshed and all works good. My problem is that when i'm using the dynamic mesh in fluent it ask me to insert the inertia tensor (3x3 matrix) in [kg m^2]. How can i retrieve this tensor in SpaceClaim assigning a material to the body?? Mass properties gives me only the volume, the mass and the principal axis of inertia moments, but i need also the moment along xy, xz, yz to compute the entire tensor. Any idea?

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation.
