  Is it no longer possible to activate the license manually from the command prompt in version 2021R1?

  I just tried activating the subscription through command prompt and didn't face any issue.
  
  The directory where ansysls_client.exe is located is changed for 2021R1 version. I guess you are using the older path which might be resulting in an error. Please check out the Command Line Options article which mentions about the new directory path for 2021R1 version.
