    The initial conditions are defined for the physics region and serve as a starting point for the simulation.
    
    If you are interested in how the time-dependent flow field evolves from a known set of initial conditions, you must specify these initial conditions correctly. If you are interested in simulating longer-term time-dependent behavior which does not depend directly on the initial conditions, such as transient vortex shading, you may want to choose Automatic initialization.
