SubscriberHi,
Please clarify how one can define a flow inlet not normal to the selected surface but with an arbitrary XYZ direction in Discovery 2021R1.
Thanks,
Bálint

Currently, the flow direction can only be defined normal to the selected face.
One approximation that you could make is by creating the inlet face at an angle so that the flow normal to this inclined face would give you the desired arbitrary direction.

SubscriberNaresh Patre Thank you for the answer.
It is quite strange not to have this feature since it was added to Discovery Live (2019R3, and possibly 2020R1 as well) previously. Do you intend to add this inlet condition to Discovery as well in the future, or is it removed on purpose?

While I haven't yet received any update from development team, I think this feature might get included in one of the future releases.
