SubscriberI am trying to simulate aerodynamic heating on blunted cone geometry of re entry vehicles using Fluent. I have been using Pressure based solver using SST k omega algorithm. The boundary conditions being used is 4 MPa total pressure and Mach no. 2. For this I needed to input turbulence parameters like turbulent intensity and turbulent viscosity ratio. When I use the default values of 5% and 10 for these parameters, warning appears "Turbulent viscosity ratio limited to 1.000e+05". How can I deal with this problem?

SubscriberHello Fathima,
there might be other reasons than the input values for turbulence that are causing your solution to approach these limits.
For example, a bad mesh quality could potentially cause this. You can create iso-clips of your solution to locate where these high turbulent-viscosity values occur in your domain and inspect if the mesh is appropriate in the region.
