SubscriberHello everyone, hope someone can help me because this issue is killing us.
We want to tune the intake and exhaust to an engine, so our intention was to simulate in Ansys the movement of the waves generated inside the ducts of the intake and exhaust and try to make an animation with the movement of the pressure waves. ¿Could this be done?
Thanks for your help in advance!! -

Ansys EmployeeYou may want to look at the LES type turbulence models. Capturing acoustic level waves may be a computationally expensive calculation, and remember to save data very frequently to then create the movies. Saving images is preferred but you'd need to know the pressure range first so that may mean you save the case & data instead.
