SubscriberI try to install Fluent on a headless cloud server running Ubuntu 22.04. According to https://optics.ansys.com/hc/en-us/articles/4417783534995-Ansys-elastic-licensing I have added our license_server and 6digitPIN both as environment variable and to the ansyslmd.ini file. But ansysli_server exits immediately with:
2023/10/09 09:00:07 INFO ANSYSLI_CMD=$HOME/ansys_inc/shared_files/licensing/linx64/ansysli_server -nodaemon
2023/10/09 09:00:07 INFO ANSYSLI_INITIALIZATION_FILE='$HOME/ansys_inc/shared_files/licensing/ansyslmd.ini'
2023/10/09 09:00:07 INFO ANSYSLI_MONITOR=$HOME/ansys_inc/shared_files/licensing/linx64/ansysli_monitor
2023/10/09 09:00:07 INFO ANSYSLI_PRODORD_FILE='$HOME/ansys_inc/shared_files/licensing/prodord/ansysli.prodord.xml'
2023/10/09 09:00:07 ERROR Invalid FLEXlm license file $HOME/ansys_inc/shared_files/licensing/license_files. Exiting. The only way I can get the ansysli_server up and running is by using the -noflex argument, but then I can still not start up fluent. How do I get the ansysli_server up and running when I only have the ANSYS_ELASTIC_CLS ?

Ansys EmployeeYou do not run the license manager when using Elastic licensing. Elastic is hosted on a cloud based server that customers don't manage. You specify your ID and PIN in your ansyslmd.ini file on your Client machine and it will reach to the elastic server for a license. Are you certain you have Elastic licensing and not some other licensing?
