SubscriberHello! I'd like to know if I can use APDL commands in Mechanical to export nodes, connectivities, and named selections as a fixed arrangement of columns. I am using MECHANICAL to mesh and export some models that I use on my own FEM code.I would like to know if I can export the named selections for example as an arrangement of fixed columns, I have used the export tool, but I want to define a specific format to export.
Any help will be highly appreciated!
Thank you!!

Forum ModeratorHave you checked Ansys Store Multi Object ExportV1.1 created by Ansys Inc ? you may need to change it a bit to suit your needs, but the extension should work. And it also includes source code.
