Is it possible to install ANSYS Discovery 2022 R2 Silent?
Is there a document? Can I create an .ISS file somehow? -

Forum ModeratorHello Craig Blake
I have reached out to the experts, few of the reasons this could be happening is because of the either the changes in the silent install options that are not updated properly yet or the specific installation media they are used to install. I will get back to you as soon as I get more information on this.
Regards.

SubscriberHi Craig Blake ,
-product_flag is for example purpose in the documentation, you don't need to include it. In your case, the command would be
setup.exe -silent -install_dir "C:Program FilesAnsys_INC" -licserverinfo "2325:1055:Server" -discovery -ug_plugin -parasolid

SubscriberCraig Blake I just checked that -discovery product flag does not get recognized by the installer when installing standalone Discovery package and it instead downloads the Spaceclaim application with it as well. If you are only looking to install Discovery application, I recommend downloading Fluids or Structures package and then using -discovery product flag.
