SubscriberGood morning all!I need to simulate the dynamic response of a beam subjected to a moving harmonic force. For that I would need to define for each time step (ti), the node (i) to which the force is applied as well as the corresponding amplitude of the force (F(ti)). This operation needs to be repeated 10651 times. My question is is there a possibility to automate this action on Ansys Workbench?Thank you very much. -

Ansys EmployeeHi,
Can you try defining the load as a function of variable 'time' in transient?

SubscriberHello Sir,If I define the force as a function, the problem will be defined as a beam subjected to a fixed harmonic force while in my case I treat the case of a beam which is subjected to a harmonic force which moves along the beam .Very cordiallyhajar
