SubscriberI'm trying to mesh simple bracket, and want all of the elements to be hex elements, however I keep getting tet elements, or the mesh fails to generate when I change the settings. I've added seeding which to me makes it look pretty straightforward to mesh hex elements. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Is there some way to force hex elements only, as that should do the trick?
Note: I've got experience meshing on similar software such as abaqus and I found it pretty easy to do the hex meshing on this shape there.

SubscriberHi Sebastian,
Can you please try changing the mesh method from automatic to MultiZone?
For further information, please follow Ansys documentation on MultiZone meshing.
Thanks,
Ankush

SubscriberThanks for the reply Ankush. I tried that before and I think it generated something, but the hexahedra werent uniform rectangles which is what i was hoping for, and is the type of result I have managed to acheive on other FE software.
