SubscriberHi, my ansys can't load any files in ansys aim. The issues is when I click it, it will appear in the new tab but would not respond but I can actually click anything other than anything in the study tab (B2 Study). For example, in the project tab, i can click anything but when I double click the
B > study, it will direct me to a new tab which will not respond. There is no error poping out, it's just that the second tab wont appear.
Please help, Im trying to learn CFD during the summer before my year 3 starts.

SubscriberThe screenshots above show the Workbench interface that is usually hidden behind the AIM interface.
Did you watch the Getting Started with AIM video that it comes with?
That shows using the AIM interface to add a Study.

You might also consider installing ANSYS Student instead of (or as well as) ANSYS AIM.
Then you will be working in the Workbench interface and the FLUENT or CFX interface. -

SubscriberHi, Thanks for the quick response.
Even when I open new geometry, the new study will just show up and not response. What do you mean by hidden behind the AIM surface? I'm unclear of that because only ansys AIM is currently opened when I opened it.
The template I used is from a guide from https://confluence.cornell.edu/display/SIMULATION/ANSYS+Flow+Through+an+Aortic+Aneurysm+-+Geometry
I literally follow step by step but sadly the study tab just won't work!
I thought it was my computer being not powerful enough but the other tab still works normally.
The ANSYS I used is provided by my university which is ANSYS AIM.

SubscriberBelow is the AIM user interface. You navigate using the Workflow box on the bottom edge.
You clicked on the Project tab to expose the Workbench interface as shown in your images above. Don't do that.
There are many YouTube videos showing how to operate AIM. Try following some others. It may be the case that your installation is not properly installed. That sometimes happens with ANSYS Student. I don't know how to diagnose if that is your problem, but you can try to uninstall and reinstall. Make sure you right click on setup.exe and Run as Administrator.
