SubscriberHello,
I am trying to simulate SLM in Ansys additive using Additive Wizard. My geometry has 2 symmetry faces perpendicular to each other. The only option for the geometry meshing is layered Tetahedrons mesh ( because I used the symmetry feature). I tried different build element sizes and meshed layered heights but there is a common problem. When I use the section plane to check the mesh quality inside the geometry, the mesh inside is not good.
The image below shows the mesh quality inside the body.
Inside my geometry, are some holes and I think the problem is because of these holes. but I am unsure how to change the mesh setting and fix the problem.
I would appreciate it if someone can help me with this problem.
Thank you in advance! Regards,

Ansys EmployeeHi,
I think you can provide good mesh around the holes using sphere of influence:
