SubscriberHello We have access to 3 licenses in my workplace. Two are Mechanical Premium and one's educational. I'm trying to run a level set-based topology optimization simulation but I get this message: "Your license configuration does not allow that operation".
I'm quite surprised that I'm getting this message, given that the option is clearly available in the drop-down menu (depending on which license I use, some capabilities simply disappear without trace). I'm also a bit surprised given how this license can run things like non-linear static simulations and explicit dynamics.
Is this available with an enterprise license? I can't find any document listing the capabilities of each license tier.
Thank you.

SubscriberThank you. However, I cannot find anywhere whether "level set based" is available. Page 6 covers topology optimization, but I cannot find the specific term. Is it "lattice optimization" the same?
Thank you

Ansys EmployeeChecking into that.
Can you post the solve.out file from a run where you see the error?

SubscriberYes, here's the solve.out file.
Today I'm getting a different error message, probably maybe I'm using a different premium license, but it still does't work with a leve-set based solver. It works fine with a density-based one.
Thank you.
