  "ANSYS Licensing Error Unable to connect to ANSYS subscription registration service:name is valid but no data of the requested type was found"

  Can you please check if you are connected to the internet? Also, while installing it is important to make changes to the firewall settings as Ansys attempts to reach cloud-based license servers. You can go through this troubleshooting page to get a better understanding.
