SubscriberHello!
Yesterday i installed the new version of ANSYS and it worked. Today i wanted to work with it, but after opening Workbench 18.2 i sends me an error: No servers provided. ANSYSLI_SERVERS: FLEXlm Servers:
I've searched on google, how to fix this problem. First step of the solution was: Run Server ANSLIC_ADMIN utility (as administrator).
When i start it nothing happens. Please help me! It's important.
Thank you.

SubscriberI have experience with two versions of ANSYS licensing: the Student 18.2 version I use in an edX course and a commercial version I use at work.
The Student version does not communicate with a License Server, the license is built into the 18.2 software.
The Commercial (and I assume the Research) version does communicate as a client with a License Server, which is generally on another machine. It is that other machine where the Server ANSLIC_ADMIN utility is run to setup the license. You don't run that on your computer running ANSYS, which is called a Client.
You didn't say which type of ANSYS license you are using: Student or Research.

SubscriberHello everyone. I m running Parametric optimization on ANSYS Workbench using VisualDOC optimizer by Van der plaats.
When the design iterations are running, they are properly simulated by ANSYS for a few iterations. But Fluent stops working after a while. It pauses the simulation. I m not sure what the problem is. Any help will be appreciated.

Ansys EmployeeHi Saurabh, I am not familiar with VisaulDOC optimizer. Can you check the convergence criterion and number of specified iterations in Fluent?
