I am currently facing an issue if licence management in the following process:
- I run a python script from the onglet scripting/run script file in the project page of Workbench 21R2
- This python script writes a .bat file in the dp0/sys/MECH folders which is supposed to launch a 22R2 thermal analysHowever, when I launch the .bat file manually (double click on it), it works perfectlyihis .bat works perfectlly when launched manuallysHowever, wWhen the python 21R2 launches the script, I have the follwing error (see awing error (in : the version of the client license must be greater or equal to the client FEAT_ANSYS versionattached files)

SubscriberIt seems that the texte managment has difficulties with dotted list, so I repost my comment again.
I am currently facing an issue if licence management in the following process:
1) I run a python script from the onglet scripting/run script file in the project page of Workbench 21R2
2) This python script writes a .bat file in the dp0/sys/MECH folders which is supposed to launch a 22R2 thermal analysis
3) When I launch the .bat file manually (double click on it), it works perfectly
4) However, when the python 21R2 launches the script, I have the following error (see attached file : the version of the client license must be greater or equal to the client FEAT_ANSYS )
This topic is discussed in the discussion: 9578 client-software not picking up on license for version 19 version 18 still works though.
However, it seems that the answer was given personnally and not posted in the chat.
Do you know how can I get ride of this error and be able to execute the .bat throughwthe python script ?
Thanksfully Eric Heulhard

Ansys EmployeeWhat is contained in the .bat file?
Are you launching the python script to launch the 21 R2 analysis from within 21R2 or R1, when it fails?
There was no attached file.
