SubscriberI downloaded ANSYS two days ago, and it was working fine. Today I opened it and worked on it for like 10 min in Spaceclaim, I left and when I came back this error is being displayed in my screen: "Could not connect to license server: 60787@127.0.0.1. Connection timed out while connecting to the server". Spaceclaim is not working and if I close Spaceclaim and open it again it shows the same error. I closed ANSYS completely and now nothing works. What is happening? I just downloaded the program.

Ansys EmployeeAre you using ANSYS Student (free) version or the Academic (paid-up license) version ?
Is this 2019 R2, R1, or older version ?

Ansys EmployeeThanks for the info.
This is odd.
What is the output of
"%awp_root194%..Shared FilesLicensingwinx64ansysli_util" -statli 2325@localhost
in the CMD Prompt
Also, you can try issuing the following commands in the CMD Prompt, see if that helps
move "%appdata%ansys" "%appdata%ansys.old"
move "%appdata%spaceclaim" "%appdata%spaceclaim.old"
move "%localappdata%spaceclaim" "%localappdata%spaceclaim.old"
