license problems after necessary reconfiguration of the pc

      Hello,

      we had to reconfigure the pc - joined to a new Active Directory.

      The system does not find a valid license file and some error messages occur. I already deinstalled SpaceClaim, but now changes in behavior.

      I also cannot write the license key within the software as told from a supplier.

       

      How can I solve this problem?

      Hi, I'm solving the same problem with our customer.

       

      Temporarily, I solved the issue with help CMD.exe, but this is just a temporary solution without using an account, only with activation ID. 

       

         1. On the machine on which you want to activate a subscription, open a command window in the following          ANSYS installation folder: ANSYS IncShared FilesLicensingwinx64
         2. Run the following command, replacing with the desired activation ID from this text file:

              ansysls_client.exe -ActivateLicenseEntitlement

      The server issue was fixed last week and the activations can be released from the account page. Please let me know if you still see any issues.
