Line contact if two plates are being welded

  Hello,
  
  Can anyone guide me on how to use line contact if two plates are being welded to each other on all edges.

  Are you doing edge-to-edge connections? Set the geometry filter to edges. Insert a Contact, pick edges for the Target and the Contact side. The default is Bonded contact. This will simulate edges being welded.

  Hello Sir, I can select edge for contact body but my target body is plate, so how to use line contact for that?

  You can pick the two faces, and use a Pinball radius to make sure there is a Connection Element in the Contact definition. The target side of the contact would be the large plate.
