Liquid Regions in Icepak Model

      Hello, 


      I am having issues with an imported SolidWorks model. The model consists of a coldplate with 2 cylindrical regions running through the plate in which there is a liquid (Ethylene Glycol)flowing. I have attached an image of what the model looks like. The inlet manifold has the fluid flowing through it across the coldplate into the outlet manifold.


      On importing this to Icepak, these cylindrical regions appear hollow (as they should be). How do I go about defining these hollow regions as regions in which ethylene glycol flows?

      You need a fluid body in order to compute fluid dynamics physics by the solver. The fluid body should be represented by fluid volume instead of having a hollow cylindrical hole. You could generate that in your CAD software before importing into Icepak or load your model in ANSYS SpaceClaim and generate fluid volume.
